In this series, Dr. Robertson explores key topics related to Visual Snow Syndrome (VSS), including the challenges of diagnosis and management, the full spectrum of symptoms experienced by patients, and how symptoms may change over time. She also discusses important and often underrepresented areas of VSS research, including how the condition presents in children and the unique considerations involved in pediatric care.

Dr. Robertson is a Neurologist at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota whose work is dedicated to improving the recognition, diagnosis, and treatment of Visual Snow Syndrome. Her research focuses on understanding the variability of VSS symptoms, identifying potential secondary causes, and examining how symptoms develop and progress, with the goal of advancing patient care and clinical outcomes.

Throughout the series, Dr. Robertson shares insights from her clinical experience and research, helping to deepen understanding of VSS across different patient groups. Her perspective highlights the importance of early recognition, particularly in younger patients, and the need for continued research into the condition.
