Visual Snow Syndrome
The Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA) is offering its Clinical Skills 1 (CS1) course for the first time in London, UK. This introductory program provides 12 hours of education on the principles of Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation and the management of vision problems resulting from neurological conditions.
In collaboration with the Visual Snow Initiative (VSI), NORA will also present a special course on Visual Snow Syndrome (VSS). In 2022, Dr. Charles Shidlofsky, Dr. Terry Tsang, and Vanessa Mora published research in Frontiers in Neurology showing that Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Therapy (NORT) can improve quality of life for patients living with VSS.
Our goal is to equip physicians with the knowledge and skills to better recognize and treat neurological conditions, while advancing the understanding and care of Visual Snow Syndrome worldwide.
