Professor Shin Hyun-jin, a leading neuro-ophthalmologist at Konkuk University Medical Center in South Korea, has been elected as a Fellow Member of the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society (NANOS). This recognition highlights his significant contributions to the field of neuro-ophthalmology, with a particular focus on his ongoing research into Visual Snow Syndrome (VSS).
Visual Snow Syndrome (VSS), a complex neurological condition, has become a key area of research for Professor Shin. After completing the VSS Physician Masterclass hosted by the Visual Snow Initiative, he gained in-depth knowledge of the condition. He is now conducting clinical trials on an electroceutical treatment, helping to advance the understanding of VSS and explore potential therapies for this challenging condition.
