Visual Snow Warrior of the Week – Zarina Medina

Spotlight on: Zarina Medina ???? @zarina_rocio

“Without a doubt I have many symptoms, from visual static, nyctalopia, tinnitus, depersonalization, photopsia, an endless list. I fear that in addition to the VS, is without a doubt the fear of going out at night, due to the nyctalopia, the static, and my entire field of vision knobbed by a thousand lights, and without a doubt the fear of depersonalization and my way of facing it. I did an analysis of everything that was happening to me and although there is still no cure, we must not lose hope and try to carry all this in the best possible way, something that was normally difficult for me to do with VS. Today I still take part in my hobby of taking pictures, even though my sight is not perfect at all, that did not prevent me from continuing with what I like. I looked ahead and continued … just like with my other hobby that is reading.

Something that I noticed that helps me with the symptoms of VS was changing my eating habits to the healthiest thing possible, drinking water, doing regular exercise and above all maintaining an emotional balance although it seems impossible at times. Keeping stress at bay and always trying to be positive in any situation.”
