My name is Zykia Moore, a 36 year old artist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I was diagnosed with Visual Snow Syndrome on November 24, 2025, after developing symptoms following blunt force trauma earlier that year. Living with VSS has been overwhelming, but I chose to turn my experience into something meaningful through art.
This original artwork tells the story of living with Visual Snow Syndrome. Through symbolic imagery, glitter, and textured elements, it represents many of the symptoms associated with VSS, including visual static, double vision, after images, tinnitus, migraines, insomnia, and other visual disturbances. My hope is that this piece helps others better understand an invisible condition that is often misunderstood.

I am honored to donate 20% of the proceeds ($300) from the sale of this artwork to the Visual Snow Initiative. I hope this contribution helps support continued research, awareness, advocacy, and education for those living with Visual Snow Syndrome.
